Falling Leaves
Today was insanely tiresome. After a few hours with Annie out in the morning, exploring the old and new equip with a free Sprinkles cupcake I realized how much I missed. It was quite glorious to see Autumn as it should be. The bright orange days with leaves littering the ground as the sun shines brightly through the baby blue sky. Also doubly awesome was being stared at as sketchy teenagers. After all, who thinks much of teenagers parked outside of their house, walking in and out of the dark car as they drive back home into their driveways.
Following the day with some machining was also pretty satisfying. Especially all the laughter that ensued after my utter failure at dividing 50/1000 for the cut. Spending a few hours at NASA, what better way to spend break? While there, I was told that my tapers look like pop rivets. Which surprisingly are quite reminiscent of my tapers. Gross as it is, I went home, sanitized one and stuck it in my ear. I now have to say, I agree that pop rivets could work as tapers. Maybe I’ll go out and buy some stainless steel pop rivets.
Oh! Got to say that the quesadilla that I rewarded myself with was spectacular. Whoever goes to La Bamba in Mountain View is missing out on the next door. La Costena, though sketchy looking, hiding behind the supermarket is the bomb.
On a different note. Well, this is kind of scattered but,
I BETTER BE ABLE TO JOIN ANNIE IN VACAVILLE.
Maybe announcing it will help persuade my family.
